Love this post Michael, I have never had a Mac myself mainly because of the price. I dont plan on getting one either, a non-mac system is good enough for me and what I do. The only real big advantage I see with having a mac is it doesnt get viruses, well if you have good anti-virus software on your PC and look after it, you wont have any problems! So PC for me!

as an ex pc user, recently made the change to mac, i agree they are a lifestyle brand ... but there are more differences than meet the eye ... already i find my mac more powerful, easier, and yes prettier, than any pc i have used ... agreed they are expensive, but worth it in the long run ... pc software will cost you a lot more .. on average a few hundred dollars more from what i have noticed recently ...and then there is the whole virus thing, true the hardware has similarities, but the fact that mac's are unix based makes them 10x more secure ... that may change one day, but for now they remain the safer bet ...just my 2 cents ...

As much as I want all things apple right now I hear you; there is nothing wrong with PCs. I would have had an answer for you on the antivirus if you haven't found a good one yet. Lemme know!
