Batman the Brave and The Bold - Michael Nus

Do you like pizza? Do you like Batman? Well we do!

Teletoon was gracious enough to have me and a whole schwack of geek bloggers from Toronto over at their offices last night for some pizza and a pre-screening of 2 new episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

If you’ve never heard of the show but still like Batman, you’re in for a real treat. If you remember the campier Batman from times past (think 1950′s) except with all the new cool gadgets, that’s what you get with the new show. Another really neat thing is that a lot of older or even forgotten characters are resurrected to make appearances in the show, some of which are regulars. Remember Plasticman, Kamandi, Gentleman Ghost, WildCat? Yep, they’re in there along with a TON of other characters.

My personal favourite episodes are any that involve Aquaman team ups. They’re always hilarious. You can catch it on Sundays at 9:30 am on Teletoon! Yes that means that Sunday cartoons no longer suck! For those of you who grew up knowing that Sunday cartoons were never as good as the ones on Saturday morning, you’ll know what I mean.
