An Ordinary Day - By Michael Nus

Haven’t posted one of these in a while but I guess since this one came to me late last night/early this morning I had to get it out there as fresh as I could. I rarely, if ever, tell people what a song I wrote is about because I would much rather they take something personal away from it without more of my own influence. That’s why I write music.

An Ordinary Day

When the chips are down
and there’s no one ’round
you’re ok

when there’s no more art
Cause you’ve become too smart
you’re ok

Release
Release

It’s not late, it’s never too late
To live like it’s your last day

When the tide is come
and your legs are numb
Sail away

Then your beating heart
Will plan the chart
and won’t lead you astray

Relief
Relief

It’s not too late, it’s never to late
To live like it’s your last day

Rise up (x3)

Ain’t it magic when tomorrow becomes today?
